Life Dimensions, Inc. was founded by Mary Ann Van Buskirk in 1996 to provide quality, confidential counseling services to all members of our community. Mary Ann is committed to maximizing your communication skills, personal growth, and knowledge. She endeavors to enhance the quality of relationships through personal, familial, social, developmental, and spiritual experiences and education throughout the human life cycle. She is here to listen and offer guidance on taking the steps towards positive life changes.

M.A., M. Div., LPC — Certified Pastoral Counselor — Relationship Expert
Mary Ann Van Buskirk, M.A., M. Div. is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado, and a Marriage and Family Therapist who has been in private practice for over 30 years. She has been integrating Catholic theology, spirituality, and psychotherapy since 1986. She has been a counselor, trainer, and clinical supervisor. In addition to her extensive experience in business, family, and life, she has also written, lectured, and conducted numerous workshops and retreats. She is married to Tom for over 54 years with three daughters and has six grandchildren.
Mary Ann is a Clinical Member of the American Association of Marriage & Family Therapist and a member of the Catholic Psychotherapy Association and the American Association of Christian Counselors. She was a Chaplain at Children's Hospital and has served as Adjunct Faculty at Iliff School of Theology, Senior Faculty for the Institute of Life & Care, and was the Family Life Director for the Archdiocese of Denver as well as serving as the Director of St. Patrick's Pastoral Counseling Center serving the needs of an inner-city neighborhood.

For over 30 years, she has been integrating spirituality, theology and psychotherapy in her clinical practice with couples, individuals and families. Mary Ann's approaches to counseling include Family Systems Therapy, Logotherapy (Meaning Centered), Cognitive/Behavioral Therapy, and Pastoral Counseling.
Pastoral Counseling
Pastoral Counseling integrates spirituality and theology with research-based clinical practices. Mary Ann has been integrating Catholic theology, spirituality, and psychotherapy since 1986, helping individuals, couples, and families find meaning, healing, and hope through a faith-sensitive approach.
